Alice on the Avenue is a neighborhood gathering place built around a simple idea: Portland could use more spaces that bring people together.

Created by longtime Portland restaurateur Sheila Baraga, Alice is her seventh local concept, following beloved spots including The Green Room, The Empire Room, The Sapphire Hotel, and Maiden in the Mist. After nearly three decades of creating neighborhood spaces, Sheila envisioned Alice as a kind of community living room — casual, welcoming, creative, and open to everyone.

Set among lush greenery on SE Morrison, Alice brings together cocktails, wine, beer, light bites, local art, live music, events, and plenty of reasons to stop in. Come on your own, bring friends or family, discover a local artist, or settle in for an evening with the neighborhood.
